I am a highly experienced, successful international executive, who has run companies in Canada, USA, Belgium, and the UK, and have more than 20 years' experience in consulting and interim/fractional management.
My corporate career started in International Sales and Marketing as the path into General Management, and my corporate experience has included experience with recognized multinational corporations – EMI/Capitol Records (UK), Benneton (Italy), Zodiac (France), United Rentals (USA), Dunlop Slazenger (UK).
I have worked on 56 client engagements since 1997, in the process growing my inventory of best practices (and those to avoid). I enjoy the consulting solution challenge but derive most satisfaction from being part of the action plan implementation, working hands-on with client teams and achieving successful results.
My specific areas of expertise are in leadership, strategic planning, team building, performance management, sales, marketing and business development. I have also served on both internal and external Boards. When engagements require additional specific expertise, I draw on a network of highly qualified associates.
Educated at universities in the UK, France and Spain with an Honours degree in Applied Languages and Business, I have traveled and done business in over 58 countries in most major world markets. I am fluent in French, speak advanced Spanish with a practical working knowledge of Italian, Dutch and Portuguese, and I also have formal certification as a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and Business English coach/instructor.
I am based in Toronto, Canada.
